HOMECOMING 2014
The 2014 RVM Homecoming festivities will take place during the week of September 29th through October 3rd. The theme song selected for this year’s Homecoming is yet to be determined. Students have submitted ideas for theme songs during the first weeks of school and an announcement will be made at a later date. We are encouraging levels to make posters for this week’s events. The following activities are planned for this year’s Homecoming week:
Mon. Sept. 29: **Patriotic Day – Wear your red, white and blue!
12:45 p.m. Homecoming Kick Off Assembly in the Gym;
Candidates Introduced; Theme Song announced.
1:00 p.m. RVM Talent Show
Tues. Sept. 30: **Wear Your Favorite Team Shirt, Hat and Sunglasses Day
9:00 a.m. Football Pass & Kick Contest
***Voting will be done during the Pass & Kick Contest (more details will be forwarded).
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Picnic lunch, activity stations by Drake students, and music on the patio outside room 203
1:30 p.m. Winners of Pass & Kick Contest announced and
Rootbeer floats
Wed. Oct. 1: **No special activities; Dress as Your Favorite Super Hero Day
Thurs. Oct. 2: **Spirit Day-Wear Your Blue and Gold!
12:30 p.m. Homecoming Volleyball Game in the Gym

Fri. Oct. 3: **Dress-Up Day!
9:15 a.m. Coronation practice with candidates/attendants in gym
11:00 &11:30 a.m. Lunch (Only 2 lunch times today.)
12:00 p.m. Line up candidates for parade (East Door)
12:15 p.m. Parade, Coronation, Dance
6:30 p.m. PTO Evening Dance
**The Grand Marshalls for this year’s parade are Bridget Tasler and Pat Tormey. They retired from RVM at the end of the 2013-14 school year.
