The Return of The Basketball Jamboree!
After a two year absence, the Ruby Van Meter PTO Basketball Jamboree is returning on Friday, April 1, 2022! This exciting and colorful fundraising event will be held at Roosevelt High School from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. (Doors open at 5:30 PM.)
Unified basketball teams from Ruby Van Meter, East, Hoover, Lincoln, Norht and Roosevelt High Schools will compete in a series of games highlighting the success that each team has achieved during halftime of the DMPS girls basketball games this season.
The cost to attend this event is $1 per person. Tickets will be available at the game or may be purchased in advance from a Ruby Van Meter staff member.

The Jamboree is a fundraising activity featuring Ruby Van Meter students playing unified basketball. With the advent of a unified basketball league during half time of DMPS girls’ basketball games last year, we had hoped that the Jamboree could become the capstone to those games. COVID got in the way of that the last two years, but we are excited to be back this year!
