42nd Annual Ruby Van Meter Swimming Championships
Our 42nd Annual RVM Swimming Championships will be held on Thursday March 24, 2016. Participants have been selected from Middle School, High School, and Transitional swimming classes and will be competing for individual awards as well as points for their homeroom teams. A plaque will be awarded to the homeroom team in each level whose students accumulate the greatest number of points for the entire meet.
Competition: Will begin in the morning, starting at 8:45 A.M. with width of the pool events and should be completed by approximately 11:30 A.M. The meet will resume after lunch at 12:30 P.M. with length of the pool events until its completion. On Thursday morning, all levels are invited to attend the entire session from 8:45 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. All levels are also invited to attend the entire afternoon session starting at 12:30 P.M.
Seating: Will be by homeroom during both sessions. Look for your homeroom’s name on the pool wall. Please supply adequate supervision for the students in your homeroom.
Awards Assembly: Will be held in the gym Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 1:05 P.M. You are invited to attend both the swimming meet as well as the Awards Assembly.
