The staff and students sincerely appreciate groups, businesses and organizations that would like to support Ruby Van Meter students with donations of school supplies. The needs of our students differ from those of students in regular educational settings. Every child in our building has their own individualized education plan, so we use few textbooks. Staff often create their own learning materials.
We can always use:

We have put together an Amazon Wish List of other items that are used to help our students with creative, social, math and communication skills. Many of these things are more interesting than the basics listed above. Take a look! If you make an Amazon purchase for us, please be sure to add a message so we know who to thank.
DMPS policy prevents us from accepting Amazon (or any other type) of gift cards at this time.
