September 23rd One Run raises money for schools!

One Run is an annual FREE  2 mile fund raising event for runners,  walkers and Des Moines Public School supporters sponsored by the Des Moines Public Schools Foundation.  This September marks the 4th year of the event.

Here is how it works:

Each participant designates the school that they are supporting.

Corporate and individual sponsors will pay all fees for the walk. The more people that attend, the more money each school raises!

Last year staff and families supporting Ruby Van Meter raised over $400, which was used to help pay for Generation Genius, an engaging math and science software used in our classrooms.

Please consider bringing your whole family to Waterworks Park on Saturday, September 23rd to support the school(s) of your choice. Check in is from 8:00 – 8:45 AM; the run/walk begins at 9:00 AM.
