Lindsay Fox, Principal

RUBY VAN METER
Lindsay Fox is the principal of Ruby Van Meter. Fox comes to Des Moines from Cedar Rapids, where she is a Special Education Director for Wapsie Valley Schools and Jesup Community Schools. She started her career as a teacher with the Cedar Rapids Community School District and as a teacher and teacher leader for the College Community School District, focusing on students with intellectual disabilities. She has also served as a student teaching site supervisor for Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, and an associate coordinator with Discovery Living. Fox has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, and two master’s degrees, one in Special Education from the University of Iowa, and one in educational leadership from Drake University.
